1. In-home Consultation and Evaluation
A Craftsmen Design Consultant will visit your home to get an understanding of your personal tastes and preferences, and what you want your new kitchen or bath to look like. Your Design Consultant will help you sift through thousands of design and production combinations available. By listening closely to you, your Design Consultant will cover your remodeling project from floor to ceiling, and help you design the kitchen, bath, or basement of your dreams, at a cost you can afford.
2. Design
You will have the expertise of one of our in-house designers, who average 25 years of experience in kitchen, bath, and basement remodeling, working on your behalf. Your project will be designed using state-of-the-art design software that provides accurate, three dimensional views of your layout. You’ll be able to make changes and see exactly what the finished kitchen, bath, or basement will look like before we get the remodeling started. And if you’re considering a couple of different designs, you’ll be able to evaluate them, side by side, before remodeling begins.
3. Selecting Your Material
With Craftsmen, you’ll have the advantage of working with your Designer to find all your material and color selections in our showroom, under one roof. You’ll know exactly what your project will look like by seeing the samples firsthand, and by selecting these materials we can give you an accurate cost estimate. Plus, by choosing materials at this stage, you will not have to worry about installation delays or back-orders.
4. Product Selection
We use products from over 50 manufacturers. We’ll order all materials and we’ll ensure all materials are shipped correctly and arrive in good condition. And to guarantee that you don’t face any inconvenience or delays, we wait to start your project until all of your materials have arrived at our warehouse. We take full responsibility for the materials from the time they ship from the manufacturer until we install them in your home. We won’t start a project until all materials are in.
5. Pre-construction Meeting
Before we begin your project, your Craftsmen Designer and Installer will meet with you in your home to review your project specifications and make sure everyone fully understands the scope of the project. Your Installer will look over the job site and re-measure (measure twice, cut once!). We’ll answer any further questions you many have and schedule a tentative date for installation. Once all materials have arrived in our warehouse, you’ll be given an exact start date.
6. Installation
Craftsmen has twelve lead installers who average over 20 years of experience each. Each lead installer is assigned to one project at time, and because most clients are not at home during the day, You can rest assured that the same Lead Installer is on site every day. This hands-on approach helps to complete your job quickly with as little disruption to your life as possible, and it means that the Lead Installer is there to answer any questions or concerns you may have. And we always take care to use drop cloths and thoroughly clean our work area daily.
7. Installation Inspection
If any inspections are required by the city or county, this is the time when that will happen. Additionally, your Lead Installer will walk through the project with you to adjust or repair anything that might need his/her attention.
8. Final Inspection
Your Craftsmen Designer will schedule a meeting with you for the final inspection. We’ll go over all care and use instructions for your new products, as well as answer any further questions you have and ensure that you are thoroughly satisfied with your finished project.
9. Exclusive 5-Year Labor Warranty
Because we have top-notch Installers, Craftsmen offers an Exclusive 5-Year Labor Warranty – the best in the area. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, so if the need arises, your Lead Installer will come back to your house at your convenience to address any concern that you may have.
